This is one of the most classic hikes in Nepal, offering an immersive experience through regions inhabited by diverse communities. The trail provides spectacular views of mountains north of the Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail) ranges and passes through fertile and well-settled farmland.

During this Day Trip to Dhampus, you will enjoy views of Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna, Manaslu, and the majestic Machhapuchare (Fishtail). The trek passes through scenic countryside inhabited primarily by the Gurung people, a renowned mid-hills tribe. The Gurungs are famous worldwide as Gurkha soldiers, yet in their villages, they are traditional farmers and shepherds.

This trek offers excellent Himalayan scenery, giving you a taste of Nepal’s classic trekking experience in just one day.
