Kaski Kot is located approximately 6 km from Sarangkot, connected by a flat road and lush jungle paths between charming villages. Nestled in the lap of the Annapurna range, it is a beautiful and culturally rich destination.

Before the unification of Nepal, there were 24 small principalities in western Nepal, and Kaski was one of them. The ruins of the old palace of the rulers of Kaski can still be seen in Kaski Kot, giving insight into the region’s fascinating history.

At the top of Kaski Kot sits an ancient Kali Temple, which offers one of the most stunning viewpoints in the region. From here, you can overlook the Pokhara Valley and surrounding landscapes.

Kaski Kot and its gorgeous surroundings are truly worth a visit. The hills are also home to our Happy HomeStay, offering comfortable accommodations for travelers. This trek can be done as a 2-day / 1-night experience, trekking to and from the HomeStay while enjoying the serene beauty of the hills, lush forests, and traditional village life.
