Ghandruk offers spectacular close-up views of the Annapurna mountain range, with breathtaking scenery during sunrise and sunset. The village preserves its traditional stone-roofed houses, and the local village museum is well worth exploring.

This trek is most popular for its Rhododendron forests, which bloom in April and May. Along the trail, you will meet various ethnic groups such as Brahmin, Chhetri, Magar, Gurung, and Thakali, offering a rich cultural experience. The trek is easy, well-serviced with lodges and electricity, and there is no risk of altitude sickness, making it suitable for children, elderly, and first-time trekkers. You may also enjoy local hot springs along the route.

The trail is mostly gentle, except for sections involving ascending or descending stone steps. Average walking is 4 to 6 hours per day, with the highest point reaching around 2,000 meters.

Accommodation and meals are provided in mountain lodges known as "tea houses," and your main luggage is carried by a porter.
