The Day Trip to Sarangkot is an ideal hike to enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. You will see Dhaulagiri I, Annapurna, Manaslu, and the magnificent Mt. Machhapuchare (Fishtail). Sarangkot village is perched on the northwest of Pokhara and offers stunning vistas of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. This region is heavily settled and farmed, adding charm to the scenic landscape.
The trail passes through beautiful countryside inhabited by diverse communities, primarily the Gurungs. Gurungs are globally renowned as Gurkha soldiers, but in their villages, they are traditional farmers and shepherds, preserving a rich cultural heritage.
This trek provides a great taste of trekking in Nepal and a true experience of the grandeur of the Himalayas. It can be done all year round.
