Kaski Kot is located approximately 6 kilometers from Sarangkot, connected by a mostly flat road and lush jungle paths between charming villages. It is a beautiful hilltop village nestled in the lap of the Annapurna range.
Before the unification of Nepal, there were 24 small principalities in western Nepal, and Kaski was one of them. Even today, the ruins of the old palace of the rulers of Kaski can still be seen in Kaski Kot, reflecting its historical importance.
Kaski Kot is also home to a very old Kali Temple, situated at the highest point of the village. This sacred site offers an exceptional viewpoint overlooking the valley, surrounding hills, and distant landscapes. The peaceful atmosphere and scenic surroundings make Kaski Kot a truly worthwhile destination.
The Day Trip to Kaski Kot begins in Pokhara. From there, we steadily hike uphill following a beautiful trail along the Pokhara Valley. Throughout the hike, we enjoy impressive views over Pokhara city, Phewa Lake, and the surrounding countryside.
The hike can end either in Naudanda or Ladruk, depending on your preference and how long you would like to continue walking.
